14-Year-Old Boy Robbed in Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public to assist in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery incident that took place in the 61st Precinct of Brooklyn.

On Monday, January 29, 2024, around 10:08 PM, at 3775 Nostrand Avenue, an unknown male suspect reportedly approached a 14-year-old male from behind. The suspect forcibly took the teenager’s cellphone and then fled the scene on foot, heading north on Nostrand Avenue. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the incident.

Authorities are on the lookout for a male suspect believed to be between 18 to 20 years old, with a medium complexion, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. At the time of the robbery, he was seen wearing a black jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, and tan-colored pants.
