BRONX, NY — A 14-year-old boy was robbed Tuesday afternoon at the Pelham Parkway subway station, police reported.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. on the northbound 5 train platform when an unidentified individual approached the teenager and simulated a weapon. The suspect then forcibly took the victim’s phone before fleeing on foot to an unknown location.

No injuries were reported following the robbery. Authorities described the suspect as a male with a slim build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a light blue jacket and carrying a black book bag.

The NYPD continues to investigate and has urged anyone with information to contact the department’s Crime Stoppers hotline.
