14-year-old girl missing in Cumberland

A 14-year-old girl, described as bi-racial by police, named Nakya Tiana Alexander, was reported missing this weekend.

According to reports, Nakya was last seen at around 4:30 PM on Maryland Avenue in Cumberland. She has brown eyes and reddish-brown dyed hair, and was last seen wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt and ripped blue jeans.

The Cumberland City Police Department has issued a notice to the public, urging anyone with information about Nakya’s whereabouts to contact them immediately at 301-777-1600.

Her family is concerned about her safety and is urging the community to contact police with any information that could help locate her.
