14-Year-Old Girl Shot in Baltimore in Stable Conditon

BALTIMORE, MD – A 14-year-old female was shot in the Western District on the evening of September 8, prompting a citywide call for information.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert at the intersection of North Pulaski Street and Presstman Street at about 7:20 p.m. Upon searching the area, they discovered a 14-year-old female with a gunshot wound. Medical personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital where she is now listed in stable condition.

Initial findings indicate that the shooting occurred on the 2100 block of Presstman Street. Western District detectives have assumed control of the ongoing investigation.
