14-Year-Old Injured In Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD- At approximately 10:40 p.m. on August 2, 2023, Northern District patrol officers responded to a reported shooting incident in the 2800 block of Oswego Avenue.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 14-year-old female victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to her right leg. The young victim was immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries, which were reported as non-life-threatening.

According to preliminary investigation findings, the shooting occurred while the victim was walking in the 4300 block of Reisterstown Road.

Northern District Shooting detectives swiftly arrived at the location and took over the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and provide assistance to the ongoing inquiry.
