15-Year-Old Arrested In D.C. Attempted Carjacking

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in an attempted carjacking that took place Friday morning in Southeast, D.C.

Shortly after 8:30 am, the victim was approached by the suspect while entering their vehicle at the 3600 Block of 22nd Street. The suspect gained entry into the vehicle and demanded the keys to the vehicle. The victim refused to cooperate, and the suspect was arrested by police.

 A 15-year-old juvenile male from D.C. was arrested and charged with Unarmed Carjacking.
