15-Year-Old Girl Struck in Early Morning West Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On Sunday, at approximately 1:23 a.m., Police responded to a shooting incident in West Philadelphia on the 700 block of North 47th Street.

A 15-year-old girl was found with a gunshot wound to her thigh.

She was subsequently transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by the police where her condition was stabilized.

 As of now, no weapons have been recovered from the scene. There have been no arrests in connection to the incident.
