15-year-old shot and killed in double shooting Monday night

Fayetteville, NC – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit have identified the victim from the homicide that occurred on November 29, 2021 at 594 S. Reilly Road.

The victim has been identified as a 15-year-old juvenile. The next of kin has been notified.

Shortly after arriving at the scene, homicide detectives were made aware of another subject that had been taken to Cape Fear Valley hospital with gunshot wounds. Contact was made with that subject and it was confirmed that they were also shot at 594 S. Reilly Road. The subject had non-life threatening injuries and they are currently being interviewed by homicide detectives.

At 8:01 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to a reported shooting at 594 S. Reilly Road.

The preliminary investigation has revealed one adult male victim was shot in the chest and located in the parking lot. Initial officers arrived on scene and attempted lifesaving measures. He was pronounced deceased on scene. His identification is pending next of kin notification. This does not appear to be a random incident.
