15-Year-Old Shot in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Southwest Baltimore yesterday afternoon.

Just after 4:30, police arrived at the rear of the 600 Block of Mount Holly Street to investigate a report of a shooting. At the location, police found the teen suffering from a single gunshot wound to his right thigh.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. The teen is expected to recover. Early indications suggest that the victim was in a physical altercation with one or more males before being shot.
