16 Year-Old Facing 1st Degree Murder For Shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department have apprehended a suspect they believe shot and killed 30 year-old Marco Nunez on April 25th. This incident happened at approximately 12:57am on the 1700 Block of Thames Street.

Police believe Nunez was killed as he tried to break up an altercation.

Homicide detectives investigated this murder and were able to identify the gunman and obtain a search warrant.

According to investigators, β€œOn May 4, 2022, at approximately 2 p.m., members of the Warrant Task Force arrested the suspect, a 16-year-old male, in the 900 block of Cherry Hill Road. The suspect was transported to the homicide section where he is currently being questioned. Following the questioning, the suspect will be transported to Central Booking where he will be charged with 1st Degree Murder and other related charges.”

Detectives also stated that they would not have been able to solve this case without the help of the community.
