16-year-old girl missing in Owings Mills, police ask for help

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Authorities are searching for 16-year-old Cheridan Cavitt, who was reported missing early Saturday morning in the Owings Mills area, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Cheridan was last seen around 1:00 a.m. on April 26, 2025. She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing all black clothing along with a denim jacket.

The Baltimore County Police Department classified the case as a critical missing person alert, emphasizing the urgency in locating Cheridan. Officials have not released any further information regarding the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Authorities have asked anyone with information about Cheridan’s whereabouts to immediately contact either 911 or the Baltimore County Police Department’s Franklin Precinct at 410-887-6975.
