16-year-old reported missing in Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, MD – A 16-year-old girl has been reported missing in Silver Spring.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old from Silver Spring.

Hitwot Fentaw was last seen on Friday, March 10, 2023, at approximately 4:21 p.m., in the 2000 block of Harlequin Ter.

Fentaw is approximately 5-feet tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and curly brown hair. She was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, grey pajama pants and pink sandals.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
