16-Year-Old Shot During Attempted Carjacking in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A 16-year-old girl was shot during an attempted carjacking in the 800 block of West Lombard Street on Saturday, August 3.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. when the victim and two others were approached by a suspect wearing a black ski mask and armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded they exit the vehicle while parked in the 5100 block of Levindale Road. The victim reversed and fled the scene as the suspect fired shots, striking her with a non-life-threatening wound. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
