16-Year-Old Shot In Baltimore Dies In Hospital

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – In an unexpected turn, a reported pedestrian crash became a murder scene in Northeast Baltimore.

An officer received a report of a pedestrian-related crash on Orleans Street around 11:30 p.m. Upon arriving, authorities found an unresponsive 16-year-old male on the street. Officers and a good Samaritan provided immediate first aid until medical teams arrived. The teen was rushed to a hospital but did not survive.

Further investigation indicated the teen was shot elsewhere and moved to the location where officers found him. The shooting occurred on Bowleys Lane, and the case is now being treated as a homicide.
