16-year-old shot in Clairton in stable condition

CLAIRTON, PA – A 16-year-old male shot in Clairton early Friday morning is recovering in stable condition at the hospital.

The Allegheny County Police Department reported that at approximately 3:08 a.m. today, 911 dispatch was notified that a person was found injured at a residence in the 1100 block of North Sixth Street.

Upon their arrival, first responders found a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
