17-year-old shot in Brooklyn, Suspect Fled

NEW YORK, NY – A teenager was shot in the chest near Ditmas Avenue and McDonald Avenue in Brooklyn’s Kensington section just before 6 p.m. on Thursday. NYPD officers arrived at the scene to find the injured teenager.

The 17-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital with promising expectations of survival. Meanwhile, the suspect managed to escape the scene on foot.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing, with the NYPD actively seeking the shooter responsible for the crime.
