18-year-old critically injured in Philadelphia shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times on the roadway near the 6100 block of Vine Street in Philadelphia’s 19th District on Monday evening.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. Police transported the victim to Lankenau Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Authorities have secured the scene, though no arrests have been made and no weapons have been recovered.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigations Group is actively investigating the incident and encourages anyone with information to come forward.

The search for suspects continues as police work to uncover details surrounding the shooting.
