18-year-old injured in shooting near Frankford Transportation Center

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — An 18-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot once in the stomach on Sunday evening in the city’s 2nd District, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:12 p.m. on the 1100 block of Rosalie Street. However, authorities believe the shooting may have taken place at the Frankford Transportation Center.

The victim was transported to Einstein Hospital by Medic 42 and is currently being treated for his injuries. No weapons have been recovered, and police have yet to locate a crime scene.
