18-Year-Old Shot in Baltimore Expected to Survive

BALTIMORE, MD – A shooting incident is under investigation by the Baltimore Police Department after an 18-year-old male victim sought treatment for a gunshot wound at a local hospital on Saturday morning.

The incident was reported to the Eastern District patrol officers who responded to the hospital at around 11:40 a.m. The young man was found to have sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 1800 block of North Caroline Street by an unidentified male suspect. Detectives from the Eastern District are actively looking into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
