Teen shows up at hospital with gunshot wounds as Paterson police investigate early morning shooting
PATERSON, NJ – A 19-year-old Hackensack man’s arrival at Hackensack University Medical Center with gunshot wounds has sparked an active investigation into a shooting that is believed to have occurred in Paterson early Saturday.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Paterson Police Department said the man’s injuries were non-fatal and that initial findings suggest the shooting took place in the area of Third Avenue and East 26th Street.
