19-Year-Old Killed After Being Pinned Under Car in Crash

MUNHALL, Pa. — A 19-year-old male was hospitalized early this morning after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of East Eugene Avenue and Valewood Drive, according to the Allegheny County Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 12:17 a.m., when County 9-1-1 received a call reporting the collision.

First responders arrived at the scene to find the victim pinned beneath the vehicle. Emergency personnel managed to free him, and he was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
