CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – Police said 19-year-old Carlos Benitez-Arevalo of Manassas was shot and killed early Sunday morning on Richie Road in Capitol Heights.
According to police, at approximately 2:40 am, patrol officers were called to the 1300 block of Richie Road for a reported shooting. They discovered the victim outside of a gas station suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
