ALBANY, N.Y. – On Friday morning, a 19-year-old was shot near Belvidere Avenue and Eileen Street.
The Albany Police Department reported that the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
First responders treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to the Albany Medical Center Hospital.
His injuries are deemed non-life-threatening. The police believe this shooting was an isolated event.
Investigations are ongoing, and the Albany Police Detective Division is seeking information from the public
