PATERSON, NJ – Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced that yesterday, at approximately 10:14 PM, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Presidential Boulevard and West Broadway in response to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a potential crime scene but were unable to find any victims.

A short time later, a 19-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center via private vehicle, seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound. The investigation into this incident remains active and ongoing, with more information to be released as it becomes available.
