19-Year-Old Shot on 161st Street in New York City

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is investigating an August shooting that took place in front of 751 East 161st Street in New York City. According to police at around 8:25 p.m. A suspect approached a nineteen-year-old Bronx man firing one shot from his gun, striking him in the right shoulder.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his gunshot wound and subsequently released.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
