2-year-old shot in shoulder, walked into Temple Hospital in North Philly

PHILADELPHIA — A 2-year-old child was shot in the shoulder Monday night and later brought to Temple University Hospital, police said.

The shooting was reported around 8:10 p.m. in the city’s 22nd District. Authorities said the child was walked into the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the left shoulder.

The child is currently listed in stable condition, according to police.

As of Tuesday, no scene had been located, no arrests had been made, and no weapon had been recovered.

Investigators have not released information on how the shooting occurred or who may have been involved.
