20 Year-Old Arrested and Charged in Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department has made an arrest in the shooting of a 34 year-old man in Southwest Baltimore. 20-year-old Thelonious Monk Jr. turned himself in on May 8th at the Southwest District station.

This incident took place on January 18th. Police believe Monk shot a 34 year-old male victim while in the 2400 block of Washington Boulevard.

Monk Jr. was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with attempted 2nd degree murder.
