20-Year-Old Man Shot Outside Stapleton Deli

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A shooting incident occurred outside My Way Deli at 514 Targee St. in Stapleton, where a 20-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday afternoon.

Following the shooting, which took place around 1 p.m., the victim was taken to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze.

He is currently listed in stable condition.

The cause of the shooting remains unclear. At this time, there is no description of a suspect.

NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information mentioned that their investigation is continuing.
