HS WRESTLING: Jackson Memorial Dominates Toms River East 58-9

The Jackson Memorial High School wrestling team had six pins and a major decision Friday as the Jaguars dominated host Toms River East, 58-9.

Brandon Burkert, Tyler Mitrosky, Michael Spino, Matt McGowen, Tim Hamann and Tanner Kelly had pins for Jackson Memorial and Michale Christie earned a 10-2 major decision over Marco Morales at 145 pounds. The Jaguars also won four decisions and one forfeit.

Andrew Meyers pinned Dan Bergeron at 160 pounds and Kyle Johnson won a 5-2 decision over Dylan Tortorelli at 170 pounds for the Raiders.
