HS BOYS BASKETBALL: Union Beats Toms River North 54-48

Ithiel Horton scored 15 points and Matthew Lajeunesse added 12 points and 20 rebounds Saturday to lead the visiting Union High School boys basketball team to a 54-48 win over Toms River North.

Jason Battle scored 10 points and had eight assists for the Farmers, who held a 13-point lead at the end of the third quarter.

Patrick Marinacco led the Mariners with 15 points. Hunter Patrick scored 13 points and Jaden Rhoden added 10 for Toms River North.
