HS WRESTLING: Howell Tops Jackson Liberty 59-9

The Howell High School wrestling team had four pins and a technical fall Wednesday as the Rebels defeated host Jackson Liberty, 59-9.

Kyle Slendorn, Nick Ciaccia, Anthony Gagliano and Ptere Dee had pins for Howell. Darby Diedrich won a 15-0 technical fall over Jair Hatch at 113 pounds and Daniel Esposito was ahead 4-2 when he won by injury default over Niles Jackson at 132 pounds for the Rebels. Howell also won four matches by decision and two by forfeit.

Tyler Kalmowitz pinned Brandon Maurice at 160 pounds and Jerald Goodman won a 3-1 decision over Ryan Marter for the Lions.
