HS GIRLS BASKETBALL: Jackson Liberty Defeats Lakewood 32-28

The visiting Jackson Liberty High School girls basketball team came back from a four-point halftime deficit to defeat Lakewood on Thursday, 32-28.

After a low-scoring first quarter that left the Lions behind, 3-2, the Piners took a 14-10 halftime lead. Jackson Liberty came back to tie the game at 20-20 after three quarters then outscored Lakewood 12-8 in the fourth.

Bailey Keenan scored eight points and Maeve Carney and Christina Mamrega scored six points each for the Lions. Hailey McGee pulled down six rebounds for Jackson Liberty.
