Shorebeat: No Development Planned on Cleared Lot in Brick

Brick Township officials say a plot of land off Jordan Road will not be developed, according to the company that owns the lot. Residents had voiced concerns last month about any potential development of the property, which serves as a buffer between Jordan Road and residents. The lot was cleared because there was a dead tree on the property and the company decided to clear the entire lot.

“You’re not allowed to build on it,” said Brick Mayor John Ducey. “It is what it is.”
