HS WRESTLING: Monroe Township Tops Jackson Liberty 55-17

The Monroe Township High School wrestling team had six pins and a major decision Friday on its way to a 55-17 victory over visiting Jackson Liberty.

Ryan Craver, Nicholas Lombard, Stephen Piszar, Jared Parisen, Kaylon Bradley and Nicholas Goff had pins for the Falcons and Michael Bilardo won an 11-3 major decision over Jair Hatch at 113 pounds. Monroe Township also won two matches by forfeit and one by decision.

Nicholas Pellegrino won a 16-0 technical fall over Sahil Parikh at 120 pounds for the Lions. Marc Palmieri won a 4-2 decision over Stephen McCann at 152 pounds, Jerald Goodman won an 8-2 decision over Matthew Devito at 195 pounds and Tyler Kalmowitz won by forfeit at 170 pounds for Jackson Liberty.
