HS BOYS BASKETBALL: Hawryluk Scores 24 in Jackson Memorial Loss

Peyton Wejnert scored 43 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Tuesday to lead the Southern Regional High School boys basketball team to a 72-56 win over visiting Jackson Memorial.

Chris Hawryluk scored 24 points for the Jaguars, who held a one-point lead at the end of the first quarter before the Rams took control. Austin Boyle added nine points on three 3-pointers for Jackson Memorial.

Mark Valeriani scored 12 points and Ethan Dubois added eight points and nine assists for Southern Regional.
