Toms River Awards Contract to TriEagle Energy

TOMS RIVER – The Toms River Township has awarded a contract to TriEagle Energy to supply electrical power to township residents at $0.09344 per kilowatt-hour.

The agreement is part of the second round of the Toms River Community Energy Aggregation (TRCEA) Program. The agreement with TriEagle Energy is eight percent lower than the average Jersey Central Power & Light tariff price for power supply. The service will begin with the March 2016 meter read date.

The initial opt-out period for the TRCEA Program is completed. Residents who didn’t opt out of the program should receive a letter from JCP&L in February confirming the enrollment of their account with TriEagle Energy.

Residents who have not received any information about the TRCEA Program but want to participate may call TriEagle Energy at (877) 933-2453.
