HS WRESTLING: Holy Cross Defeats Donovan Catholic 59-19

The second-seeded Holy Cross Academy wrestling team had four pins and a technical fall Wednesday on its way to a 59-19 win over third-seeded Donovan Catholic in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA Non-Public B South Tournament.

Chase Mullarkey, Greg Long, Avery DiNardi, and Matt Correnti had pins for the Lancers. Cam Wasson won a 16-1 technical fall over Carlos Leon Garcia at 170 pounds and Holy Cross won five matches by forfeit.

Ryan Acosta won a 9-1 major decision over Beau Bruneau at 145 pounds and Cristiann Dailey won a 9-5 decision over Robert Rodolico for the Griffins, who also won two matches by forfeit.
