HS BOYS BASKETBALL: Lakewood Defeats Jackson Memorial 78-57

Amir Tyler scored 29 points Tuesday as the seventh-seeded Lakewood High School boys basketball team defeated visiting Jackson Memorial, 78-57, in the opening round of the Shore Conference Tournament.

Sean Barksdale scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the Piners.

Chris Hawryluk scored 25 points for the 26th-seeded Jaguars.
