HS BOYS BASKETBALL: Marinaccio Scores 23 Points in Toms River North Win

Pat Marinaccio scored 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds Tuesday to lead the fourth-seeded Toms River North High School boys basketball team to a 70-47 win over visiting Henry Hudson in the first round of the Shore Conference Tournament.

Mike Nyisztor scored 14 points and Hunter Petrick added 12 for the Mariners.

Tom DeFillippo scored 23 points and Anthony LaRue had 10 for the Admirals.

The Mariners will face Toms River East on Thursday in the second round.
