HS BOYS BOWLING: Jackson Liberty’s Malley Wins Individual State Title

Senior Justin Malley of Jackson Liberty High School won a state championship Wedneday, defeating Kyle Bilawsky of Woodbridge, 279-266, in the final match of the NJSIAA Boys Individual Tournament at Caroliner Lanes in North Brunswick.

Malley finished 11th in the first round of qualifying but bowled a three-game 748 in the second round to earn the top seed in the stepladder tournament.

Both Malley and Bilawsky opened the final match with six consecutive strikes. Malley extended his streak to nine frames before picking up a spare off of a nine and finishing with a strike in the tenth frame.
