HS GIRLS BASKETBALL: Rumson-Fair Haven Defeats Toms River South 58-31

The second-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School girls basketball team led by just one point at the end of the first quarter Thursday but dominated the rest of the game on their way to a 58-31 win over visiting Toms River South in the second round of the Shore Conference Tournament.

Sydney Sabino and Katie Foos scored nine points each for the Bulldogs, who held a 27-13 lead at halftime.

Emily Donzanti scored 14 points and Maria Gregorio added eight for the 18th-seeded Indians.
