Ocean County Graduates 29 new Police Officers on Feb. 19

LAKEWOOD – The Ocean County Police Academy will graduate 29 new officers during a ceremony on Feb. 19 at Georgian Court University.

The 10 a.m. ceremony will include a keynote address by Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato. Four of the graduates will be joining the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.

“The training provided by the Ocean County Police Academy gives the recruits a foundation for becoming the best officers possible,” said Ocean County Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy, who oversees the Police Academy.
