HS GIRLS BASKETBALL: Buxton Scores 20 in Donovan Catholic Loss

Dara Mabrey scored 16 points Thursday as the third-seeded Manasquan High School girls basketball team defeated visiting Donovan Catholic, 55-40, in the second round of the Shore Conference Tournament.

Faith Masonius and Stella Clark scored 15 points each for the Warriors, who led by seven points at halftime.

Melissa Buxton led all scorers with 20 points for the 14th-seeded Griffins. Kaitlyn Borghesi added six points and seven rebounds for Donovan Catholic.
