HS GIRLS BASKETBALL: Jones Scores 23 in Jackson Memorial Win

Daria Jones scored 23 points Friday to lead the Jackson Memorial High School girls basketball team to a 43-40 win over visiting Red Bank Regional.

Kara Howlett scored 10 points for the Jaguars, who held a 24-19 lead at halftime. The Bucs cut the deficit to 35-34 at the end of the third quarter, but Jackson Memorial held on for the three-point win.

Dani Evans and Bridget Sheeran scored three points each for the Jaguars.
