HS GIRLS BASKETBALL: 26 Points for Jones in Jackson Memorial Win

Daria Jones scored 26 points and had 11 rebounds Thursday to lead the Jackson Memorial High School girls basketball team to a 56-29 win over visiting Middletown North.

The Jaguars held a 15-11 lead at the end of the first quarter and held the Lions scoreless in the second to take a 28-11 halftime lead.

Alexis Casella scored 11 points and Kara Howlett added nine for Jackson Memorial. Allison Wanzor had seven points to go with four assists and four steals for the Jaguars.
