Major construction to begin on N. Cooksbridge Road in Jackson

Starting on or about January 23rd, the Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority will begin their water and sewer main relocation project on N. Cooksbridge Road.  The work will include the construction of 2-16” replacement sanity sewer force mains and a 12” water main.  Southbound traffic will be detoured to Bennetts Mills Road while northbound traffic will continue to flow.  This relocation work is expected to last approximately 45 days and will immediately be followed by the reconstruction of the bridge over the Metedeconk.  The detour will remain substantially unchanged during this second phase of work.  The County bridge project is expected to be completed within 300 days.

For those who travel this route, please keep this in mind and allow extra travel time to get to your destination. This is a lengthy project so your patience and understanding during this time is greatly appreciated.
