Is Glory’s Market Being Sold to Quick Chek?

JACKSON-A rumor circulated on social media in the past week suggesting the owners of Glory’s Market, located at the intersection of Cedarswamp Road and West Commodore Boulevard was being sold to the Quick Chek Corporation.

Owners of the business and relatives of the owners took to social media to claim the rumor was false.

Glory’s Market is situated in the middle of Mitch Leigh’s “Impossible Dream” project, Jackson 21, which is currently constructing thousands on residential housing units and plans to build a “downtown” area with commercial and retail shops, with loft apartment housing above.  The property is situated off exit 21 of Interstate 195.

The family has been in the forefront of Jackson Township politics for many years.

Quick Chek currently operates two locations in the township.

Russ Mensch, president of Mensch & Company, Inc., which manages public and media relations for the Quick Chek Corporation was asked if he could comment on the purchase or the circulating rumor.

“Nothing to confirm at this time,” Mensch said.
