HOWELL-After a biker who was involved in a scuffle at a bar eluded Howell Police Officers, Police Chief Andrew Kudrick had strong words for the man.
“Just be a man and turn yourself in,” Kudrick posted on Facebook. “You most likely avoided a DWI. Deal with the criminal and motor vehicle charges. You will be caught if you don’t.”
The incident happened Monday night when Howell Police received a disturbance call at a local dive bar, Tom’s Tavern.
As officers arrived at the scene, a motorcyclist was exiting the lot. An officer attempted to stop the operator however he ignored the officer and sped away.
The biker, however, forgot his helmet at the bar and police have submitted it for DNA testing.
Kudrick is seeking the public’s help with identifying the biker. Outside of being the only guy riding a motorcycle without his helmet, a photo of his lost helmet has been posted.
