Beachwood Firefighters Respond to GSP Car Fire

BEACHWOOD-At approximately 645 AM, the Beachwood Fire Department responded to a working car and trailer fire at milepost 80 northbound on the Garden State Parkway. The fire was quickly extinguished with no reported injuries.

Then, at approximately 1130 AM, we responded mutual aid into Toms River to assist multiple Toms River and Island Heights Fire Departments at the scene of a structure fire in their East Dover section. After assisting with suppression efforts at the scene, Beachwood crews stood by Station 25 providing coverage for Company #1. Strong work by all involved.
