Toms River South’s Cole Corrigan Win State Wrestling Title

Congratulations go to High School South’s 152-pound wrestler Cole Corrigan, who brought home an N.J.S.I.A.A. State Championship by putting away his opponent from Phillipsburg with a farside cradle that sealed his state championship medal this past weekend in Atlantic City. He won the championship match 5 to 4, extending his undefeated record this year to 40 wins and zero losses. Cole proudly holds a career record of 141 victories and 12 losses, and his career accomplishments include:

  • first Shore Conference individual title this year
  • District champion four years straight
  • two consecutive Region Championships
  • New Jersey State Championship, 152-pound weight class
